Last S3 thread, maybe, from me-launcher issue

You folks have been patient and great with answering my questions. I originally joined because of my new S7, but am "experimenting" with my Nexus 7 (2012) and my S3 with apps, launchers, et al.

Okay my S3 is from Verizon. For the last 18 months or so it has occasionally given me the error notice that "Touchwiz has stopped working" I click "OK" and my phone goes working merrily along.
Today I downloaded Nova Launcher, paid edition and installed it. Within an hour, while setting it up, I got the message that "Nova Launcher has stopped working" Once again, I click "OK" and my phone goes merrily
working along.

Any idea of what is happening?

You might be able to boot into recovery and wipe the cache partition and get things working correctly.
If not, it may be time for a factory reset.

Wipe cache partition done. I'll see how it goes before doing anything else.

Since it is a Verizon i535, do you have the Verizon Software Update and Repair tool on your pc?

Great thing to have when you need it. Will backup all your data and settings and reflash firmware. Faster than Odin or Kies to restore corrupt device.
