Latest Update Wiped Messages

After the last update, the first user (me) that I had pinned to top of messages was wiped from my phone. I used My Google Message Restore from 3 days ago and it only restored about 10 older messages.
Any others have this issue? Is there any other place I could try to retrieve the messages from?

If there were no backups made, you probably cannot restore them.
Use sms backup and restore from the play store is your best option moving forward.
