lattitude gps accuracy

Wife and i use latitude gps to track each other. however the accuracy is not very good. It can show she is 2 miles from where she actually is. is there a tweek or another program to help make it more accurate? Tia

Mine did that due to the cell tower locations. Go into settings/location and security then uncheck use wireless networks. Unfortunatly is uses that before the GPS and gets an innacurate reading.

Yes, I believe that's the trade-off... accuracy or battery life.

My wife and I also use latitude and at times the accuracy is dead on, while other times is close, but not close enough.

Lately for me lattitude seems a lot more accurate with the other person not having a gps signal.

I've noticed the same in the past week. The updates are faster and more accurate.
