Launch Android Camera in Video Mode

Hey there,

Just wondering how to launch the Android camera in Video mode by default?

I have the Galaxy S2 Skyrocket and will likely end up using a third-party camera app once I get it working right. With that said, I'm wondering how I can launch the camera app in video mode automatically? I have shortcuts on the homepage and would like one for the camera app and one for quick video recording.

Is there a way to do this? I hate the fact that the camera app is now one main application and that the video is not separate anymore. Is there a quick workaround to this?

Thanks,

Look to see if you have a seperate app, for camcorder, in your apps drawer. (or something similiar) On my Atrix 4G I have a seprate app for camera and camcorder, but can switch between the two within either app.

No separate app. That's found in older builds and phones. Had that option before. Now it is just one app and it sucks. Anyone know of a way around this? Found a few, but complicated.
