Launch-X

I may just give this a try, but quit posting stuff like this, I've wasted hours, no days, customizing my evo. I need my life back :-)

This is exactly what I've been looking for, thanks BoaH for pointing it out.

To DroidNinja, I bought the paid version, but only so that I could have the 'show background' button enabled. I didn't want it covering my wallpaper.

I've tried More Icons and found it to be too small to work with, this format is better for me.

It doesn't actually SCROLL left or right, but there are screen selectors. I'm assuming you have the free version, in the setup see the screen selectors. If you have more than one screen's worth of icons you would tap the screen selector to move left or right. To me that's not scrolling (which *I* think of as a 'swipe'), but it does give you more than one screen's worth of icons.

The screen options are
Max 7 screens with 7 icons each.
Single screen with max 7 icons.
Single screen with two rows max 14 icons.

I'm using single screen max 7, with only 5 icons - though I temporarily changed to max 7 screens 7 icons each and loaded up icons, so that I could answer your question. So now you're indebted to me... :)

Using this and WidgetLocker, I now have my 4 most used apps on my lock screen - no need to unlock the phone to get to any of them. I chose to stop at 4, but you can put whatever you want on the lock screen.
WidgetLocker does seem to slow the phone down just a bit when you first get to the home screen (after unlock). I'll play with it for a few days to see if the slowdown is enough to annoy me (so far, it's not).
