Launcher features - ADW, Go, Pro

I've never been fully satisfied with Touchwiz on my Galaxy S so I've been trying new launchers. I have Go Launcher, Launcher Pro, and ADW Launcher on my phone.

Go has the most unique UI and I really like the feature where when you move icons around the ones around it move out of the way automatically. It makes it so much easier to rearrange icons on a homescreen. The problem is the notifications never work, which is a dealbreaker for me. LauncherPro works great except that you can't rearrange homescreens. That seems like such a basic feature for an Android phone, I don't know why they don't include it. ADW does let you rearrange screens and the notifications work...most of the time.

Does anyone know if there's a way to get notifications working for Go Launcher? I have the app for it but it still doesn't work. And is there a way to make the icons in ADW or Pro move automatically the way they do in Go? I really like that feature but Go seems to be the only one that has it.
 
My notifications work on both SMS and K9. Make sure you have stuff checked in the main GO app under advanced settings.

My notifications on Go worked correctly from the start. You mean notifications on the notifications bar? Or sound?

On Launcher Pro, lets say you already have four homescreens set up, for the sake of example, lets say homescreens A, B, C and D. You realize you want the order to become A, C, D, and B. On launcher pro you cant just swap the screens, you have to add a new homescreen and transfer the widgets around to get the order you want. On Go Launcher, just go to leap view, long press on the screen thumbnail and swap positions of each screen just like you are arranging shortcuts on a homescreen.
 
^Yup. That's one thing that Touchwiz does right.

Oh ok that's what I was doing wrong, I just assumed that they'd be turned on by default. Go is now my default launcher.
 
HTC Sense does the moving of the icons thing. Also, Espier launcher (iOS) launcher is great. It really mimics the functionality of iOS, such as adding folders by simply dragging one icon onto another one.
 
I love Go Launcher. These guys are relentless in making updates. I really don't know how they do it being this is a free app.
