I've been messing around since I've newly gotten Launcher Pro Plus loaded onto my phone, and googling how to customize and I just had a few quick questions if anyone can offer some guidance.
Here's the basic thing I'm looking for help on, is if anyone know's some trusted & tried sites/apps that are worth the time and money. Sure I understand preference is a factor, but what I mean is - I'm looking through a lot of things I'm considering trying but don't want to go crazy spending a few dollars here and there - for instance - I was considering buying the Launcher Pro Icons & Docks for $2.99, but I'm not sure if it's worth it. The themes and such I'm finding like on XDA are for rooted/deodexed in which I'm not planning on doing anytime soon (I don't think)
I am just getting overwhelmed by researching something cool and then it taking me to 100 other cool things, lolz, and really I'm not sure how it all comes together. I found a pretty good guide for LPP I'm still reading, but I'd like to go ahead and get a decent generic cool looking setup since I got LPP now.
So are the customizations everyone is using with LPP an assortment of different random docks, icons, wallpapers, widgets, etc that they like? Or are most finding all-in-one themes and utilizing that whole set? Some of the top important things to me is I want a utility widget to turn bluetooth, gps, wifi, etc on/off; a nice time/date & batt display, and maybe folders like I've seen. I'm not wanting a whole lot, pretty much just that, I don't care too much to keep FB or other feeds running.
