launcher pro - reset default action message

first of all I cant figure out how to make launcherpro ask me what to do when I press a icon after I have picked the check mark and said do this as default I cant figure out how to have it ask me again - I know I can change it to something else but I want it to ask me every time

the only way I have figured this out was to uninstall the app and reinstall it then it asks you again but I am not going to uninstall apps just to get this to work

its for the messaging app

I dont use the stock messaging app, its not even installed on my phone I only have handcent and gosmspro and I have problems with those sometimes but thats a different story

I want to have the launcher ask me when I press on the messaging icon

You have to clear the defaults. Go into your settings (not LauncherPro settings) and click on Applications then Applications Manager and find the app that you had set to default, then scroll down and click 'clear defaults' and it should now ask you which app to open and remember, if you want it to ask everytime don't check the box.

after reading that I remembered that option and I tried it - it doesent work, it is cleared it doesent let me clear it again even after reboot but it still doesent ask me like it should
