What launcher are YOU using?

I tried the ADW Launcher today; I had it on my Skyrocket, and it was acting weird. If you scrolled through the various home screens, the display would go all funny, showing hundreds and hundreds of pages\images.

I like to use ADW because you can turn the home screen to landscape mode, too...

Why on earth didn't ICS offer this as standard?

Try Nova Launcher or SSLauncher.

...weird, I installed Nova, and it is doing the same thing with my screen as ADW did. I even rebooted.

Very odd.

Apex launcher is supposed to be pretty good, too. From what I recall, Apex has a marginally higher rating than Nova does.

I just know that I'm ready for something different, having been using Launcher Pro and ADW EX for so long.

I thought all the Android Market launchers allowed for landscape view

Try out Apex launcher if you haven't yet. It's the best free launcher on ICS in my opinion. But their paid versions like Apex Pro and Nova Prime are pretty close and it depends on your preference.

A non-stock launcher lets you change the way your phone behaves and looks starting from your main screen. You can change the way your icons look, the way your screen transitions from one screen to another, etc. Some of these free launchers offer some cool effects when you swipe from one screen to another (like a 3d rotating cube etc).

Just to confirm, do other S III users have Nova, Apex or ADW installed, and using it with no issues?

No matter which one I try, when I scroll from screen to screen, it doesn't scroll but just shows lines, and lines of screens cramped together.

Really odd...

I use Go Launcher EX and it looks pretty good, clean and looks great... with some cool fx too... give it a try and see?

+1 to Go Launcher EX. But I've been searching for a comparison between that and Nova Prime. So far, my search is fruitless :-(

Go Launcher is working well. I'm trying to figure out how to change the icons on the launcher (after scrolling)
