Hello and welcome to Android Forums, mcd123.
There is no Android version above 4.4.4 so I must assume the makers of your phone are pulling a fast one. If you have registered the phone with a google account and have access to the play store, you can always try to push a launcher to your phone.
Log in to the play store and try this one ... https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.anddoes.launcher
There are others, but that's what I use.
