I was a little reluctant to use launcher pro when it was first released be@ause I was pretty much hooked on the black helix launcher. When I finally bit the bullet, launcher pro has become hands down the best launcher all around offered in the market. For the basic user, offers up to 7 homes screens (like many others) also you to set main screen that pressing the home key will always bring you back to, and by pressing the home screen twice it shows and overview of each screen. The elastic style transition is definitely a nice effect for some. Also changing the speed in which home screen opens will give a quicker transition back to your home screen, and let's face it, with our android phones getting faster who really wants to wait?
For the more advanced users if offers many nice bonuses. Changing the number of icons your phone displays makes it easier to multitask with having everything in one central location instead of searching through multiple screens. For those who are rooted using launcher pro and altering some minor changes through the spare parts program will yield a very fast expeirence for anyone who picks it up. Regardless of what kernal your using you can still feel the speed of the phone in your hand.
