Hi all

I have been using the free version for a while now. Thinking of upgrading to full. Is it worth the upgrade? I can't see how it can be better. Also is it worth getting the icons and docks app? Cheers

I bought the upgrade just to get rid of the nag screen that required 2 taps to get out of every time I accidentally invoked the widget resizing mode. And it's always good to support developers of worthwhile apps.

LauncherPro Icons has a decent library of color-coordinated icons and fancy docks, and it's convenient, but it's my understanding that you can do the same things yourself with some extra work. I think it's worth it for the convenience, but YMMV.

Supporting the developer of this awesome launcher is reason enough to go pro in my eyes. There are a few options not in the free version as well, so it's worth it.

I agree... it's a nice product, well worth the upgrade, and you are supporting a great developer.

Yeah, I agree. Would prefer it from market though. Don't like paypal method.

As a developer myself I have a simple rule.. If I like and continue to use an app someone is prepared to spend their own time working on and they provide a means to help repay a small amount of that time then I pay, regardless of whether it gets me any extra features. A few pence for something that takes many tens if not hundreds of hours to write and maintain seems somewhat of a bargain. I cannot see why people complain about paying for apps.
