Rumors that HTC are working on the next Nexus tablet have been quite prominent over the past few months, and we may have been treated to our first bit of early information.

definitely looks like a sweet device, but i will have to pass. i was holding out for the next nexus tablet, but several things are against this one.

price. i cannot afford 500 bucks.

size. 8.9 inches is .9 inches too big for me. 8 is the sweet spot imo.

no qi charging. my next tablet will support it.

so, i guess i'll just sit on my nexus 7 2012. or hope that google announces something else next week.

sort of bummed about this.

I mean 399 for the 16GB isn't terrible. I was hoping it was actually going to be 100 dollars cheaper though, as I expected the pricing to be comparable to that of the Nexus 7

My Nexus 7 2012 has some physical damage and has been kinda limping along for months. I've been hoping to replace it with a new Nexus no bigger than 8" and for around $300. But I'm with boathead on this. It's is a little too big, a little too pricey, and if it lacks wireless charging that is strike 3.

Looks like I'll be picking up a Nexus 7 2013 on sale. Sometimes the latest is not the greatest.

I'm bummed that the rumors indicate that the LTE version of this could push $600 dollars. If I wanted to spend that much, I'd buy the padfone instead.

Yeah I saw that too and wondered what Google was thinking :(

Usually they're so nice with their pricing...I mean I like how they moved to HTC, but I think that maybe it's a little overpriced, just go back to ASUS.

Just ordered a factory refurbished Nexus 7 2013 16GB for $150. To heck with a Volantis or whatever. The N7 suits my needs better and for a lot less.

Dose look interesting. Hoping it will have the next Android and this is early info. Hoping for wireless charging with a tablet too.
I have a duel pad charger so will accommodate a tablet easy. We shall see.
