I went to Office hour for my Psychology Class for tips on the test tuesday, Did get good tips and got a chance to talk with my professor about Computers. Hes a programmer, So what he did was lown me a book On c+t and that came with a Copy of Visual Studio.
In now,so I think sometime Ill be here looking for help.

Not until after the test though

The C++ in 24 hours book is probably the best intro to the language. As you're a student, you should be eligible for free microsoft software via dreamspark. YOu just need to register with your Uni Email to get free downloads of Visual studio and some other dev. tools. If your Uni has a Dreamspark Premium account, you can get a limited number of copies of Windows (Vista,7 and 8. (and XP if you really want it) plus some other MS software (I can't remember what as I've graduated and lost access).

Learning a programming language without learning programming is like learning the names of body parts without learning how the body works - then trying to be a surgeon. Read Algorithms and Data Structures before you try to learn programming languages. Languages are all pretty similar (unless you like doing things backwards, like Forth) but you have to know the goal and the methods first.

Thanks. I think learning the basics is a great idea before jumping in first.
