^ does it protect the front screen with a little overhanging lip, or not? any protection from front screen shattering if drop?

Theres a front lip. Just a little one though, about a millimeter in height above the screen. Provides really good grip though. The little lips on the corners and the small raising should be enough to keep the screen off the surface when it's flat during falls, but on a rough one, it's anyone's guess.

I'm not sure how you want this. The less bulky your case is, the less protection it will be.

Bad mouthed, crass, rough on the edges, but got his heart in the right place. I didn't vote for him, and not a fan of his methods, but he won, so meh. Too early for me to judge him IMO.

I'm more annoyed by his die hard followers.

I got this one, does the job for stopping scratches and getting dust and finger prints all over it. Although now i tend not to bother with it.

Not a lot of protection for the screen if it happened to fall on that obviously. But it does have a lip.

I second this!!!! Just bought the unicorn beetle, love it!!! I think it is probably the best thing out there besides otterbox, but i heard that the screen protector is not good...

today I dropped my S7 edge from hip height on concrete. Thanks to the cover, there is nothing to my S7 edge
