I bought an LG ally in July 2010 and I'm currently on a Verizon family plan. I was wondering if I want to leave the family plan and start a new individual plan with the same number would there be any extra fees or cancellation fees?
You have to do an Assumption of Liability (call customer service), then the line will be yours.
They will run a quick credit check, just fyi.
There will be no fees, but if you do it mid-billing you may get pro-rated.
