Help LED indication not working

Got galaxy S 3 the other week Everything super cool ehmm apart as the title suggest the LED doesn't and has never worked.

I defo got the settings correct and all that so don't know if it's a hardware problem or software problem.

Had a wee look on Google to see if it was common issue or if there a work a round etc but can't get any info re this hence why I'm posting here .

ps im on stock rom

Any suggestions will be gratefully receive

If you have looked at Menu > Settings > LED indicator to make sure the LED events in there are checked, then how about a reboot or battery pull?

thanks bud but already tried all, but the battery pull and that didn't work either. It not a deal breaker for me, more a pain in the proverable so I just have to live with unless jellybean somehow sorts it.
