Root LED light is on when I turn the screen off

I have a rooted droid 2 with the latest Fission rom installed. I was wondering if anyone knew the solution to getting my LED to turn off. When I'm using the phone (screen on) the LED is fine, but when I sleep the phone (turn the screen off) the LED will stick at Blue for some reason. Does anyone know how to fix this or go about troubleshooting it. I know its not chomp sms, the only app which I've fooled around with the LED settings in.

Check the settings in any app that gives you notifications such as email, gmail, twitter, facebook.

I uninstalled Chomp sms, now its turning red instead of blue, its not even a notification blinking light, its just solid

never mind, now its back to blue

figured it out, it was a battery monitor application that I forgot I had installed. Sorry, I should have done a more thorough scanning of my apps before I posted.
