LED Lights

Question for the crowd on LED lights. I know there are apps out there that signal different colors for different kinds of messages. But are there any apps that allow setting a different color for a certain contact? Coming from the blackberry world, there are a few apps that allow this. I used to have my wife as a different color and any kind of message she sent, or a missed call, would be easy to see. Haven't seen this in the android world. Any ideas?

Yes. Lightflow has that ability.

Ok thanks. I thought I had tried that app and I don't remember that I could set a color for a contact. I'll give it another try.

I emailed the developer and here is the response. Fairly limited.

At the moment you can, but it's limited to text messages and missed calls. We used to support gmail also until google stopped 3rd party apps having access. I'm in the middle of working with the developer of aqua mail for adding contact specific email notifications with their client (as the stock app doesn't allow any 3rd party access like gmail)

You can use SMS PopUp for free, but it only gives you LED and Tone controls for texts, not emails, calls, etc.

Thanks. Odd that this kind of app doesn't exist for android devices. Oh well. With the old BB, I could set a color for my wife and one for my boss. Anything that came in would blink that color until checked.
