Lenovo announces the PHAB 2, PHAB 2 Plus & PHAB 2 Pro. Specs, pricing and release date revealed - Reviews

After months of teasing, Lenovo has finally announced the first consumer smartphone that will use Google's Project Tango software. In fact, the company announced 3 smartphones in this PHAB 2 series of devices.

The PHAB 2 has a 6.4" 720p display, 2GB of RAM, MTK 8735 SoC, 5MP front camera, 13 MP rear camera, microSD card slot, 4,050 mAh battery, and 32GB of storage. Priced at $200, available in July.

The PHAB 2 Plus has the MTK 8783 SoC, increases that RAM to 3GB, screen resolution to 1080p, and has an 8MP front camera instead of 5MP, 13MP rear camera. Priced at $300, available in July.

The PHAB 2 Pro is the one that has Google's Project tango hardware, uses the Snapdragon 652 SoC, has a 1440p display, 4GB of RAM, 8MP front camera, 16MP rear camera, no microSD card slot, fast charging, 64GB of storage and what Lenovo is calling an "intelligent Assertive Display." Priced at $500, available in August.
