Hi!
I own a Lenovo P2 running Android 7.0 and recently wanted to expand my internal storage using Android's adoptable storage feature.
My storage was almost full so I just inserted a new SD card and hit the 'Format as internal storage' option. It transferred data for 10-15 minutes and then said it's done. It had transferred half of the data to my SD card. (Internal storage of my phone is 32 gb as well as the SD card)
Now I expected the adoptable storage to maintain this balance of data between internal and SD card as I added apps and data over time. But what it really does is just keep adding data to my SD card and once that gets full I get the 'Storage Space running out' message, while my internal storage of 32 GB still has 10+ GB of free space.
Also, while connecting to the computer, I can only transfer and copy files in the limited 32gb space of my SD card. Why is this?
Please suggest a resolve. Any solutions would be well appreciated. If any other data is required, I'd be more than willing to provide. I have attached a screenshot of the storage menu in settings.
Thanking you.
