Well, now that you have asked, I thought we were looking for some "really old stuff", those of which I unfortunately allowed some friends to use "in a pinch" and they lost them..... pissed me off royally, I am going to have to quit being "Mr. Nice".
I have two Older Phones that are still "in service" sort of. They are backups for my daughter and myself.... we keep them charged and laying close at hand by our recliner or computer desks....
They are handy to grab and "take a picture" and use ASUS File Manager to send those pix to our PC's "Camera" folders.
This snapshot was taken by my "most recently retired" flagship, a Galaxy S5.... it is still a superb phone, and the ONLY reason I have "retired it" is so that my new toy, a Galaxy Note 4 can be registered on my number..... I like the Note 4 because of the larger screen which can give me larger fonts.... my 73 y/o eyes appreciate the bigger fonts.
Now, this picture was taken by the "old S5", which stays charged all the time, it has a Qi wireless charger in it.... I grab it for fast pictures like this....
This photo shows my Note 4 next to my Ole Reliable Horse, a Samsung Galaxy S Fascinate ( Verizon vernacular for the 'S' phone ) the Fascinate is now something like 6, maybe 7 years old and still using the OEM battery that came with it.
I thought it would be interesting to show the size comparison between the two phones...
.
the shiny stuff in the background is sometimes known as .45 ACP
The Qi Wireless charging pad, you can see is alive and well, the light is RED indicating nothing on top of it. The light turns to BLUE when it is charging something. Like the S5 right now.
