What Do You Have? What Do You Use? What Do You Like?

I find myself standing for a good 10 - 20 mins @ my movie case's searching for something to watch on days where TV sucks and still dont often find something to watch.........so i finally decided to do something about it since i can just sit and scroll through movies and decide that way...

So I am currently getting ready to retrofit an old Dual Core PC slapping about 8TB's worth of Storage Capacity in it and start backing up my DVD's (a lil over 3k) and BD's (a lil over 2k) .....


was curious what you guys use to serve your media?....

I have movies on an external HDD and use VLC to play them.

Same here. I have 2 ext. hard drives connected to my Mini Mac PC, which is connected to my HDTV, with a wireless keyboard and mouse setup.

yah the main pc i have no problem with space, but location is a diff story..

im setting up an independent client/server for the living room....
