Help Letters above the up and down stream data symbol

I get a g and 3G but I also get a h and h+
H+ seems to be the fastest but my iPhone only had e and 3G
So what is it
Also I get a flashing eye symbol
 
G is gprs = 2g
E is edge = 2.5g
3g is 3g
H is hsdpa = 3.5g
H+ like above but a bit better

The eye is smart stay. If it detects a face, it overrides the screen time out.


All this is in the manual

Thanks but please don't assume that everyone who owns a phone has a manual for it. :)
 
When I got my phone and noticed no manual, I just decided playing with it was the best way to learn...

2 days later found the manual on this forum, but had already figured out what I wanted to know.
