LeWa OS help

Hi guys,

Just flashed LeWa ROM to my android phone. Love it except it for a couple of things I hope that I can get help on;

1. does not start the apps I want it start at boot. I installed a startup manager & made sure the apps where set to start which they were.
The apps I want to start/activate is 'Notification Toggles' & 'Smart Cover Pro'
What else can I try?

2. it keeps telling me there is an update of LeWa OS, I download successfully & it tells me to reboot to apply the update. When it reboots I see that it automatically boots into recovery and auto installs the update but I see there is a page that shows with the 'Oops' error. This is done very fast so it doesn't give me time to properly look. It then restarts into the LeWa OS & tells me that the update has failed. I tried to install it again but same thing happens. How can I update & install successfully?

hi mate,

1. Lewa OS has it's very own Security Centre app in place, that I'm most certain contains a Startup manager called Auto-start Control. That is where you have to add your chosen apps. Also, you'll have to open ROOT permission for that to work.

To open Root:

Open Security Centre
Click on the 2nd Tab, I think it's called Protect
Choose Permission Management
Open Root


2. What phone do you have? You will sometimes see an update, if the ROM you have on your phone is ported from another phone. I had an iOcean X7, running LewaOS, that was ported from a Zopo. I could see the update, but couldn't actually update.

i have found the auto-start control menu and have enabled my apps. thanks

i have a neken n6. so i have to wait for a updated that's ported for the specific phone.
if thats the case can i turn off the update notifications?

I don't think they can be disabled, try checking for any options in the updater app. I don't have Lewa running on my phone at the moment
