lg aristo screen and battery question

i have 2 lg aristo ms210 phones from metro pcs. we got the phones and then i got some gator glass to keep the screen safer. well as i applied the glass cover i noticed the cover did not set down along the sides of the screen, there is a gap along both sides top to bottom, my phone is better than the wifes phone. i'm concerned dirt will find its way into that gap and start damaging the screens. can anyone tell me why the aristo screens are not flat. she got her phone new out of the box from the metro store, i got mine new out of the box from ebay and both have the curve screen. if this is normal then does anyone know where we can get the glass that is made for the curved screens?

battery question. i have 4 samsung phones and i use them to monitor my cameras and leave them plugged in to the charger. the phone stays cool so it must have stopped charging. and the charge bolt goes away inside the battery icon. but soon i will sell these and start using the aristo and i can't have it overheating if left plugged in while monitoring my cameras. so does the aristo stop charging or not? anyone know for sure? the charge bolt does not go away inside the battery icon on the aristo phones.

thanks. the aristos i have are botha bit different on the screens. mine has only a bit along the sides not actually touching the glass protector, but the wife's phone has about 1/4" along both sides that do not touch the glass protector. mine is not to bad the wife's is annoying . i got them bothe from the same seller and out of 4 2 were broken so if yours if touching the complete screen that is great. if you tool a flat item and laid it on the screen from edge to edge it would rock on the screen mine better that the wife's. thanks.

thanks that is about what i have on mine. the wife has way more. so that tells me these phones screens are not really flat but have a bit of a crown. it may be that they put a harder glass on them and figured there was no need for another hard gator type glass protector on them. but i want one just to be on the safer side. again thanks for the help

They're not rounded, they just did not bother making a new screen protector for an unpopular phone because the Aristo 1 screen protector is 'close enough' they're just marketing them as an Aristo 2 screen protector

just so you know we got another phone just like these 2 for the girl and got the glass from the metro store and that glass fit perfect on her phone. i put a small machinist straight edge on all 3 phones and the glass on all of them is flat both sideways and lengthwise. so it is not the glass but the phones. the girls is flat mine has a small curve and the wife's has a larger curve. the phones are the issue not the glass. now it could be because they have gator glass on them already and that can make them curve some. thanks

I have the Aristo and the Aristo 2 and I'm really happy with these phones. When I bought the first one I didn't have much hope that it was a good phone but it has proven me wrong. I bought the Aristo 2 as soon as it was available and is much better. The only difference I can really see is that now it has 2 Gigs of Ram while the first one only had 1.5. Does anyone know if these phones can be Rooted? Any info would be great. Thanks
