Help LG Device unlocked through lock pattern, needs internet access

Hello there,

I have LG device with android OS has locked through many wrong pattern lock attempts, I already have the gmail address and the password but the problem that I can not swipe down the top panel to activate the MOBILE DATA or WIFI in order to have any internet access while it is stuck at the lock screen.

Has anyone ever faces such a problem? Can someone help me to find a bug how to do it?

you could always factory reset if anything but itll wipe everything.

hold power button and volume down on off mode and it should give you an option to factory reset.thatll take everything off.works for lg f6.im hoping all lgs are set up the same when it comes to that.best of luck

dear frosthax1, thanks a lot but why do I need to reset the phone while I have every thing but mobile data activation? I am sure there is a bug somewhere

If you can't access the internet, either via mobile data or WiFi, a factory reset is your only option. Any other option involves the ability to communicate with the Google servers to verify your Google account details.

It's not a bug, it's done that way for security.

This wont help Omar (OP) but it is worth setting your phone to automatically turn on wifi/data at a set time every day, so that in the event that you are locked out (or you have lost and need to track your phone) you will know that you can do it at a particular time. Samsung phones usually have an option " wifi timer" otherwise you could use an app such as Juice defender to set a schedule. It would avoid the need to factory reset in many cases such as this one.

I did two weeks ago for my friend's galaxy young, and I was able to get in the mobile data while it is locked through a complicated bug. I am still decided that I would find that bug somewhere. Anyway thank you guys for your assistances, they were really appreciated.

The Young uses a different version of Android unfortunately.
