lg esteem power issue

I have the LG Esteem from MetroPCS, my phone shuts off not even a minute after I disconnect the charger after charging to 75% to 100%. I am not sure as to what is wrong because it just started happening less than 24 hours ago.
 
Check the battery for a snug fit &/or loose broken prongs where the battery connects to the phone.

Similar problem(s) as this have been noted on other devices & one of these is usually the culprit.

If possible,troubleshoot w/another battery,if not one of your own,perhaps a METRO PCS Store in your area will have one on-hand for you to use.

Might try booting into SAFE MODE to see if a downloaded application is causing the problem.

If all else fails,see if a FACTORY RESET will do the trick.(Back-up media/contacts/etc. as required/desired).
