LG Esteem-Video Format Not Supported

Does one know why videos that were previously functioning on my LG-Esteem are now displaying this error message: "Video Format Not Supported"? I can hear the audio but cannot see the video at all.

Where are you watching the video from. Is it online or from your local storage?

i typically have this problem when i'm surfing "Gametrailers.com" and other sites watching them online gives me this, then downloading the same files and trying to play the makes the same result. X_X but then again it's happened once or twice with my new phone and used to happen all the time with my admire
