Im new, pls bear w me..
I've had my LG optimus F6 ( T-mobile) for 3 yrs now. It's been working great for me and i really like this phone.
However , i encountered one problem that,i can see, many others have. Internal storage could be bigger.
It was suggested to me to patition the sd card to gain extra storage. Mind you, all i need is an extra 2 gigs.
I tried few things after my research ( didnt know much about it) , ..
I rooted ( w towelroot)
Got TWRP
Got rid of bloatware
Flashed Game Theorys Xperion Rom ( great rom btw, GT did a fantastic job, ( for MetroPCS, but works on T- mobile just fine)..
But,...didnt help much w my storage problem. :-(
I did an extensive search into partitioning sd card. ( android forums, xda, google), and noticed that not many want to give this advice much time since its an entry level phone.
Also, everywhere it was relevant discussion , people say they did that on a DIFFERENT device , OR that it can not be done..(?)
In the meantime im back to stock but still rooted.
My question is :
1- is there anyone that has succesfully partitioned the sd and actually gained storage ON THIS PARTICULAR DEVICE,
...or.....
2- is there a standard guide on how to partition the sd , so i can try to do it myself and put an end on this issue . If it works or not.
At this point im willing to get into it even if i break the phone..( got already another new one for 100 bucks from amazon just in case)...
...any input or guidance in the right direction would be much appreciated ...
( maybe i just dont know where to look..?.)
