LG F6 stuck in "download mode", what is this?

Exactly what I did. I., took off the back cover and removed the battery to clean the phone by blowing out a little dust.

When I turned it back on and now says download mode do not unplug the device until the process is complete.

Its been.tjat.eay.for.half.an.hpur.amd.i disnt.want.to.risk.touxhing it until.asking.for.help.

Please excuse the typos, I'm on my motion on wifi posting this and I don't have the patience to correct them.

It's a mode for flashing firmware with lg update tool... Removing battery and turning it back on should fix it

Lol to put the motion in that mode remove battery put back in turn it on while pushing the volume buttons

Okay, it worked. Thank God, that was the longest 30 minutes of my life.

Also, going back to a) the small screen and b) the stock LG keyboard was hell.

Man I know that feeling too well, when I first killed my atrix hd going back to the motion I felt like I was going to break it.

Before I got my F6, whenever my motion conked out (which, thankfully, was not very often) i actually had to break out the ol' Optimus M and use THAT.
