Lg G stylo No service (VM)

Greeting everyone, long time lurker, first time poster. Need a little help with my LG Stylo

Ive had it for a good few months, all was well, but then one day all the bars are empty so i cant call or text.

ive done almost everything i can think of. hard reset, mobile settings, updated prl and profile, called VM to reset my mobile service, but they really didn't help at all. i even though it was the sim card and had VM send a replacement one, still nothing.

ive even switched to an older phone i owned and my service works fine, so it may be the phone itself.

i was wondering if anyone else had this problem before and had any solutions to this.

gonna try and provide screenshots if needed.

Could be the phone or could be the sim tray specifically

Go to your phone application and in the dialer dial ##SCRTN# (##72786#) then tap "OK"

It should reboot and do a normal activation/PRL Update and then reboot again! Then check to see if you have service. If not then contact VM and they should be able to guide you through manually fixing it through the DATA menu

thanks for the advice but ive done that 3 times, called VM, they suggested the same thing, plus were able to look at my service from their end.

it seems like its the phone itself
