The phone amazingly well. Really fast. I removed LG stock launcher and put Nova. No lag. It feels considerably faster than my Galaxy S3. The battery life is my favorite thing about the phone. Only once i have i drained the battery 100% in one day and that was done with heavy, heavy usage.

I had to turn off the knock knock feature because it was causing the screen to turn on ramdomly.

After going through many ROMs, stock and LG wise, I found a 4.4 stock ROM and LOVE it. Was able to keep the LG camera app which is leaps and bounds better than the AOSP one. It's fast, fluid. Screen is amazing. Camera is great. Battery life is ridunculous .
Overall, if there was any phone on Verizon I'd most recommend, it'd be this one. :D

all things considered its leaps and bounds above any other phone on the market.... and any that Ive even seen coming soon

speed is great even under load

screen is beautiful and perfectly sized

great development activity (not sure why I keep seeing threads that say there isnt)

went 3 days on last charge with normal use (last phone I had to plug in as soon as I came home each night)

camera takes great pictures (since the update)

radio is great.... I get 4G at home despite being outside the 4G coverage area..... and no call issues unlike Samsung products at my home

have yet to find a flaw.... even the button location (which seems to be the biggest turnoff for most) has grown on me and I cant imagine using side buttons now

Phone is perfect.

I run it the best way. I never allow install apps from outside the play store. I run it as it came out the box.

No major complaints from me. Even the 'very warm' issue I had when I initially bought it has gone away. Not 100% sold on the camera, but since I rarely use it not a major problem. LG stock im happy with, not fussed about kitkat upgrade because the phone as it is just works.

All these posts mentioning speed is great and how fast the phone is, it is making me worry that something might be wrong with my phone. I don't see that super speed, in fact my old LG Escape can toggle between home and app drawer faster than G2. When I hit Home i cannot immediately hit App drawer. Can someone please try toggling between the two and see if they can immediately press App List button after hitting Home or do you have to wait a bit before it can respond?

I also have some skipping issue while scrolling up and down.

Any ideas?
Even with these, it is an amazing phone.

Ok that is definitely strange, I have had the phone for about a month now, installed heaps of apps and there is no lag. The app drawer opens up straight away... See if you can get a replacement or something.

I did have quite a bit of lag on certain ROMs I was running (Clean, Malladus) so I just blamed it on that. Since I've gone to an AOSP one (Gummy's Kitkat), it's been buttery smooth.
In particular, the lock screen was stuttery and opening the app drawer would lag a bit. I tried cleaning cache, factory resets, Lagfix (it's a root app) but nothing really helped. Aside from installing a different ROM, I'm not sure of the solution. :o

Are you happy with AOSP?
