LG G2 Flash tool Failed

Dear experts ! My phone work perfect before upgrading to lollipop using KDZ file , after upgrading the touch screen stop working properly.I used some stock roms but not sucess.I find under the cover that is Sprint model (LS980) and also on PCB LS980, I tried to flash it with Sprint firmware using LGFlashTool 1.8.1 (tot files) , but the problem is my phone don't accept LS980 firmware (see pictures). When it was on running condition i shoot the pictures you can see the older firmware ... Please need help @iowabowtech

Hi there, and welcome to the Forums.

it looks to me like you mistakenly may have flashed the wrong firmware.

the build.prop of your device is telling the tools, that your device is different than what it's supposed to be....

I may have a way to help you but we'd need to connect remotely via teamviewer.


Question, Have you tried LgUP to flash the .TOT or .KDZ ?

if so what does it say?

Thanks for reply ... You are talking about LgUP dll file ?? yes I have tried LgUP dll file and if you suggest me right file and procedure I can flash it because my internet connection is little slow so thats why maybe we can't communicate on teamviewer well

What about the program LgUp it's self , does it give you errors trying to connect the device to it?
and what errors does it say?
and if it recognizes the device , what model does the LGup think it is?

I have a way more advanced copy of the LgUp tool than what's available on the internetz,

and My copy even allows directly flashing individual partitions and such.

I wont share my custom tool, but I am willing to use it to help you recover your device if possible.
I'm offering to help if I can for free but I'd need access to the device via a remote connection to the windows PC connected to it. Teamviewer is the platform I use for things like that.

If you cant or are unwilling to do that then I'm afraid my assistance will be Very limited in scope of options you can try with out knowledge of how to rebuild the LGuP tool.

since that tool is not open licensed I will not tell you how to change it.
only that it can be done.

and for your security I'd recommend you to email it to me,
we don't need your login info falling in to anyone Else's hands

Who knows who may be lurking and I don't even completely trust the Mods in forum sites. No offense to any Mods or anyone else, tho I will say the ones here at AF are pretty Great Guys as you get to know them. LoL.
