Help Lg G2 "glitchy"..

Lately my android has been acting funky; I first noticed when i was using video player to watch shows/movies i downloaded that it would all of the sudden pause and then immediately start playing again (causing the menu buttons to appear and the video to rewind slightly) sometimes it will keep going and sometimes it will do it repeatedly until i move the video to another point. I thought this might just be a corrupted file or something but it kept happening with different videos, and even pausing YouTube videos (not a buffering issue but literally pausing them) . also my keyboard itself has started acting funny, sometimes disappearing on its own and sometimes selecting words it thinks I'm typing by itself. its like The screen thinks I'm hitting buttons when I'm not i guess. I've also downloaded Lookout app to scan for malware etc which came back with nothing, and an app to clean up my junk files which only succeeded in deleting all the album art I'd gotten with album art grabber.

Fyi The "auto pause" feature is not enabled I've checked.

Any ideas? I've only had this phone a month or so, it can't just be an age thing..

Have you tried rebooting it?
That pic you posted, is it animated? As in, does it look like a "loading" animation?

I did a "soft" reboot so far but thats it. Yea its animated - spinning etc - not sure if its related to my original problem but it started almost immediately after i posted my question here. Can't find anything online to tell me where it might be coming from, or why it pops up periodically. i click the back button and it goes away, then shows up again 30-60min later

Yea just the stock video player.
Recently installed lookout, G cloud, and clean master (which deleted my album artwork, so i uninstalled it). but before that a music ddownloading app that i guess could be a little suspect. "Music downloader free v2"...read the reviews tho and the only thing some ppl talk about are ads popping up which hasn't happened to me. Unless this qualifies as an ad?
No sideloading though...
