if u can see theres a sorta white line going up and down the screen on the right side.
this line thing is only visible to darkish colors mostly grey and navy.
the lines can not be seen in bright colors or very dark colors.
i dont know if this is a faulty or this how lg screen is made? does any one els have this issue.

Don't see the same issue either.

Perhaps defective screen, which is rather disappointing....again. Doesn't matter the phone, but it seems all manufacturers tend to do very little quality testing on finished products. They get assembled and go right in a box. Apple, Samsung, Motorola and LG all seem to push out defective units.

Sure, they are making millions of phones and there is bound to be defects, but I really hate threads like this where there's another defect. The manufacturers should be doing better.

Although, I bet they've done the studies and concluded it costs far more to actually test each one than to deal with consumer issues later.

i'm a big LG fan, but their build consistency sucks. Noticed big time with the Spectrum. Mine would run oc'd 1.8ghz all day. Some phones had to under clockto 1.2 from the stock 1.5 to run right.

back to topic.. No screen issues here.

i say return it for ease of mind...all manufacturers have their fair share of defects...i had to return motrola atrix like 3 times back in the day...2 macbook airs cause of dings and scratches..and ip4s cause of speaker issues...
i work in QC in biotech...if only QC was just as good with electronics.

Im also noticing on a kinda dark screen if i press down on the screen a little it makes waves. Like u would if u press down on a lcd tv screen. For a touch screen phone i dont think it should do that.
i have a gs3 and it has the same gorrila glass and it dosent do that.

No, none at all, and even with a fairly decent press.

Certainly sounds like a defective screen.

That's more of a design issue rather than quality, but unfortunately we (the end users) see a lot of quality problems. Has nothing to do with LG, as Apple iPhones also have their share of quality issues, or Samsung, etc.

Fortunately, I've only had one instance of a bad phone, which was a launch day Droid X, where it wouldn't even activate in the store. But otherwise I've had good luck.

It's just disheartening to hear so many reports of "Insert X" not working and the solution is to return. I think manufacturers should do better rather than having customers be their quality department. But full testing does require money, and that cost would have to be passed to end users. Who knows what the failure rate is, but I'm sure some bean counters have determined that consumers vetting quality makes more financial sense.

well i went to return the phone and the guy tried to prove me wrong. he said thats how the phones displayed are made showing it on display phones so im like what ever. then i went to show him the problem i had with the pictures i showed. he said he couldnt see anything then i showed him the pics and he said oh.

i did end up exchanging it for another lg g2 but it was the last one. theres no screen issue with this one as on the picture i showed but then yet the issue appeared a few days after but hopefully nothing els is wrong with this one or i got to make an order.. and im not going thru that.
