LG G2 vs. HTC One

So, I have been waiting for a long time for the HTC one to come to Verizon. It finally will be released this week, but now I am torn. The LG G2 obviously has its benefits. What are your thoughts? Go with the newer updated phone, or go with a phone that arguably has been the best phone of 2013?

The phone has been launched if you talk about specs I will personally go with LG I love its design and the processor is 2.2Ghz snapdragon along with 13Megapixel it is a great buy.

I've moved this thread to device comparisons since that's what we're doing here.

Neither phone is going to be a slouch in the hardware department. Techincally the G2 beats the One in processor with the Snap 800 vs Snap 600, though the average user might not even notice. Have you ever used a LG or HTC non-nexus phone? If so how did you enjoy it? HTC Sense tends to be very polarizing with people either loving it, or despising it's existance. LG software use to be horrible bad in the past, and they don't have a good track record of keeping their phones up to date as far as android revisions go.

As far as development goes, the HTC one is more likely to be able to be unlocked for custom roms and what not. Both phones will likely come with locked bootloaders though.

I have not had an LG in a while, and my last HTC was the Evo 4g. I have played with the HTC one and like it, but the specs of the LG have my intrigued.
How about the LTE advanced benefit of the 800, i am guessing that wont matter for a couple of years?
