Hi, this is my first post to the forum, I am in a bit of a bind and really hope someone here can help me.
I have an LG G2 D801 (I think) that was originally a T-mobile phone from the States, though I bought it from an independent vendor in Argentina. This was my first mistake as it has no warranty. It was new in the box with all its accesories, and worked like a charm for the first few months. After 5 months of use the battery life started to deteriorate and the phone turned off when I got to 30% battery - and I discovered that the battery had seriously inflated and was pushing the screen up. I rushed home, and with the help of an instructional video on Youtube I very carefully took out the battery before it destroyed my phone.
I bought an identical battery on MercadoLibre and when it arrived I replaced it carefully following the instructions on the video. The phone didn't turn on, but I assumed this to be because the battery had no charge and I plugged it in with the charger that came with the phone (1.8A). The screen started to flash the LG logo, and the LED flashes red, but after leaving the phone overnight in this state there is no change. If I try to boot it I get the dreaded blue screen of death.
I have plugged it in with a different charger (2A), and the LED flashes but the logo doesn't appear. The screen remains black, and pressing and holding the power button gives me blue screen of death.
I would really appreciate some help here. I understand nothing about Android or electronics or software or newfangled tech jargon, so please speak to me in plain English (or Spanish or Swedish, but plain. I am ignorant).
