Water damaged the main board on my G3 and upgraded to a G5. Got a cheap parts phone with a cracked screen and swapped the board. Everything seems to work great except the WiFi. If I watch the connection list, they all disappear and reappear periodically. Sometimes it will connect, sometimes it doesn't. On average it stays connected for about 10 seconds. When it's connected it works fine. Tried multiple networks and all the basic tips I see online. It's running 6.0. Any help is appreciated.
Here's what I tried on top of the basic tips:
-Applying tape to wi-fi chip or the other side to add pressure
-reflowed chip with heat gun (nothing changed)
My old main board would cause the touch screen to stop working for 90% of the time. The other 10% of the time it worked perfectly. If you know how to fix that, this would also solve my issue.
