LG G6 Google App keeps stopping

This seems to be a not uncommon issue with many phones. However, the common solution of clearing the cache,is,not an option on the G6- there is no option to delete or clear the cache.

Any ideas?

Do you have an app called Smart cleaning on your phone Hugh? That can clear your app cache.
