Help LG GW620f, help upgrading

Hi, first of all hello to everyone, I came here for some help because I've seen a lot of helpful info in these forums, I am from Mexico and recently bought the lg gw620f with the Telcel carrier, I have research but the driver for using adb shell and tools is not working for this model I think is the same model as the lg eve gw620 but I can't get into debug shell with the command adb devices it doesn't appear anything, i have try xp and w7 with no luck, I will appreciate any help, thanks.

Hello DarkAndroid.

I see that the Eve and lg gw620f do share the same drivers, as indicated by both names being listed for the same download.

I'm wondering if you've received a corrupted driver, and if you just need to download again.

The only other suspicion I have about your issue is the age of the drivers as seen by your computer OS ("compatibility mode"). In Windows 7 you can set the mode to "older software," or some such wording.

Make older programs run in this version of Windows

Thanks for the reply, I did it , just needed to restart xp and I also activated root access but don't know if that made the trick.

Works great, I haven't test eveerything yet but the GPS is not retriving my location, also keyboard and language can be set to english or korean for obious reasons so some simbols don't match but thats ok, I only whish I could get the GPS to work .

Its worlking now, I think I just needed to download the map .
