I have an LG K-10 with the Android operating system and I cannot hear people when they call me and they cannot hear me when I'm trying to talk to them what is wrong with my phone

If it is always like that it's a phone problem, if it sometimes is and sometimes isn't it could be network coverage.
Beyond that it's hard to say just from what you've said. Has it always been like this or just started? Do you have other connection problems? If it has just started, what happened before then (e.g. software updates). Have you dropped it, got it wet, etc. Have you tried a factory reset, or spoken to your service provider?
