lg k20 endoscope question

i have the lg k20 plus phone and i have an endoscope camera and i just cant get them to connect. i have installed 5 apps and they tell me the phone is otg ready and working but the scope will not show. so does anyone have an endoscope that works on this phone? and what model or app. it may be i have the wrong apps. i uninstalled them after they failed, no sense having junk on the phone. i have had a need for that endoscope now about 5 times and about 5 times i've tried to use it and install apps and it has yet to show.

the endoscope did work on an old samsung but then the app that was working got updated and then failed to work with that old phone. one reason i lept that old phone. any ideas how to get this endoscope to work or is the phone just going to work with an endoscope camera? thanks

External device support is typically dependent on an app to access it. Something like a driver or firmware that any external device requires can't be installed manually so with Android, support for external devices is typically inclusive to a manufacturer's app. Have you tried contacting the manufacturer of the endoscope model you have?

thanks it seems the app should have that in it like you say. the app tells me my phone has otg up and running and the ox is 7.0 the phone on will it work tells me it has otg also. i think i will go to the lg site and ask some lg k20 users if they have one of these running on there phones. thanks for the help
