Help LG Optimus F3 Factory resets when rebooted?

So, followed an unbricking guide to flash a new rom, and all went fine. until later, when i rebooted my phone, and realized there was the little android symbol on the screen that means your phone is being factory reset. Now this happens every time i turn off the phone. I think this could be a problem with the way i flashed it. I attempted doing research, and found maybe i used the wrong dll when i flashed the rom? Or maybe, i saw that there were different software versions, so is it possible i flashed the wrong one? I'm new to the community, so any/all help would be useful :) thanks

EDIT : UPDATE: I installed cwm recovery and now every tiime the phone boots up it boots into recovery so maybe that has something to do with it...?
