ANDROID PHONE QUESTION

Guest
i have a metropcs phone, it is a "LG Optimus L70, with 4G mobile data.

**My mobile data is on and i can make and receive calls. but now it does not connect to the internet anymore.....

--WHY? IDK! BUT, HERES THE SCOOP!....

....-Prior to this it was working just fine. I had the Wifi on and the mobile data off. When i went to turn the Mobile data back on, (the switch turned to mobile data as it should) and i turned the wifi off (it did so too as it should do).

-i then click on the internet browser to go online to search and it says it is not connected and to turn eithier the mobile data or wifi on. Now wen switched to wifi, it works fine, but on mobile data, thier is no internet connection watsoever (anymore).

-Also, the "4G" icon that stays next to the signal bar is no longer thier, only the signal bars.

**SO WHAT HAVE I TRIED SO FAR TO TRY & SEE IF IT GOES BACK TO NORMAL??"

....- i powered off my phone (a couple of times) and powered it back on (after a few minutes passed to see if it would "reset" itself) i then again attempted to get online by clicking the internet browser again and still the same thing.....not connected! (connect using wifi or mobile data, it says)

* second, what i did was i restarted the phone,... and again, i tried to connect to the internet (using my mobile data only) and nope it didnt work eithier, it said the same thing.

--the mobile data works as to sending & receiving text messages and making & receiving phone calls, but no internet (mobile data) connection

-ANY SUGGESTIONS AS TO HOW THIS COULD HAVE HAPPENED AND TO TRY AND FIX THIS?? AND OR HOW CAN I BE ABLE TO CONNECT BACK TO THE INTERNET WITH MOBILE DATA??

is greatly and very much appreciated as iam freaking out about this cause i dont know how this could have happen.. thanks.

Hi

Does this happen everywhere or could it be a 4G transmitter/receiver failure where you are? (Do other phones work on 4G)

Could the SIM card connections be playing up? Turn off, take the SIM out, put it back in carefully and restart the phone.

It could be a faulty phone. If you are coming to that conclusion, try a factory reset before returning it as that is the first thing they will try. Back up everything before you do this as it will wipe all your data.
