LG Optimus Pad - Anyone Interested?

I'm starting to hear a lot about the LG Optimus Pad! It looks awesome so far! Is anyone thinking about picking one up when they are released? What about price? That may be my determining factor...
 
It's the only one that's not 10.1 inches (it's 8.9 inches). That has me interested. But I really couldn't care less about the 3d and if the 3d drives the price beyond that of competing tablets, then my interest will be nonexistent.

Yeah, I agree...keep the 3D and make the price affordable! That would sell it to me! :)
 
The sad thing is, all these companies would have to do to get me really on board is commit to at least one year of timely updates. The only company with a good track record is HTC and their 7 in. tablet isn't even Honeycomb. AND it's gunked with sense junk. I've learned to deal with it on my EVO, but cumon! I may have HATED my original iPhone, but at least I got 2 years worth of updates with it. LG's track record is horrible and I have no reason to believe that they're going to update this thing past six months.
 
The screen size has me definitely interested. But the idea of paying for an extra camera for a ridiculously useless feature is very off-putting.
 
I like LG stuff in general, own a few LG appliances. But they need to get the price under $500, or I won't even give them the time of day.
