I drive truck for a living and as such, I can enjoy this phone (and the crappy Sprint service) in 48 states in the US. I can tell you that it all depends on where you live and your local Sprint coverage. There are some places where the service is phenomenally fast and others where it says it's 3G but in reality it's like 1/3G. Ask your friends with Sprint service and they can advise you about your specific area.
