Help LG P150 Me Optimus

Hi,

I just bought a LG Optimus P150 Me Smartphone and want to use it for GPS. When i click on "Navigation", it starts displaying "wait for location" in my language. But afterwards, nothing happens anymore. I have no internet connection. Could that be the problem ? Or does navigation has to work on it without a connection to the web ? So, do i have to switch on certain settings or parameters ?

You don't need data to pick up GPS but you do need data to download and display the maps that go along with it.

Thanks for your reply but what does that mean exactly in practice ? I have now activated 2 settings about data & GPS. But nothing changed, still "waiting for location".

Sorry, i not familiar with this terminology ?

You have to enable your mobile data network. U need to connect to the internet to download the maps you need to use your GPS.
