Root LG Spectrum IcyFusion Rom: USB OTG Compatible? Can I connect an external flash drive?

Hey guys, thanks for taking a look!

I have a rooted LG spectrum, running the most current icyfusion ICS rom, and am trying to use USB OTG capabilities to connect a keyboard, mouse, flash drive, etc.

I have all the hardware (micro usb to female usb otg adapter, and splitter usb cable to charge the phone simultaneously).

I've downloaded the USB Host Controller App from the play store, however, when the program launches, it reads:

"3C USB Host driver NOT found!
Root hub is not present, USB Host mode not active or not available!"

I've searched everywhere on the web, and can't find anything about this and compatibility with the spectrum. Completely stuck here, and thinking the phone might not even be compatible...(but it must, right?)

I dont think there is USB connectivity possibru on Spec after bootloader is a change

USB host mode requires certain hardware to work. It's not something that is software driven. To my knowledge, our phone does not support OTG, even though the files are referenced in the kernel.
