Root LG Spectrum VS920 No Signal After Downgrade CM10 -> V6 Stock GB

Hi there, first of all I want to thank everyone in this forum for their help, really great job guys!

Now I come to you with a problem, I've searched everywhere for a solution and it seems I am the only one with this problem. So here it is.

I have a VS950 Intuition and a VS920 Spectrum fully flashed (calls, sms and 3g) to a CDMA carrier outside the US. Everything was working on my VS920, I unlocked the bootloader and flashed CM10 and AOKP and had no problems with calls or 3g data. A few days back I got bored of CM10 and I wanted to go back to v7 stock but at the moment I didn't have the v7 .cab files at hand, I only had the v6 .cab file so I flashed it with the v6 cab file to later update to v7 via OTA (BIG MISTAKE). Flashing the v6 cab changed my IMEI/MEID to zeros, so with little help from Google I found a way to restore my original IMEI/MEID without problems. I had my phone in v7 stock just like I wanted, restored my IMEI/MEID, loaded PRL, changed to NV Only and flashed my dn, min, data profile, etc... with QPST and I thought everything was working, I had wifi, bluetooth, gps and signal bars so I started the debloating process. After debloating it I restarted my phone and turned 3G on, I visited some websites and I found out my 3g was too slow, then I did a phone call test from another line and the spectrum never rang. Next step was to double check the qpst configuration and loaded a different prl and still was unable to receive call and 3G navigation was extremely slow.

I went to *#*#INFO*#*# and the phone info reads (among other settings):

Grab LTEon/off from the market and see what your data settings are set to. You may have lost part of your CDMA/LTE setting in all that mucking around.

Thank you Neph81 for your quick response and for all the effort you have put in developing for the vs920 and helping others.

I must clarify, it was downgrade from CM10 -> V6 Stock GB

Ok, and this is a long shot, but grab the copy of CM9 that is floating around the forum here. Install it and go into the network settings area. You'll have two options (NV or RUIM/SIM) . Set it for the RUIM/SIM and then reinstall gingerbread. Let me know if that works for you. Alternatively, you could force it into NV mode as it sounds like what you're doing doesn't use a SIM card.

ok so you mean:

V7 Stock -> Bootloader Pwnage Tool -> Install CM9 -> Set RUIM/SIM -> Restore V6 .cab right? If so then I'll report back in minutes. Thanks!

you shouldn't even have to install v7 if you don't want to.

If you're on GB, just go -> cm9, fix setting -> flash another gb rom and check for data.

Once you have data working, then you can worry about where you want to finally be.

On V7 Stock -> CM9, changed settings -> V4 Stock = nothing
V4 Stock -> CM10 -> CM10.1 = nothing
I'm now on V7 .cab method

Well, it was a good try but it didn't work. The difference between CM and stock is that in CM there are no signal bars displayed. But it's still connected to a mobile network. It is like it has no signal but some how it is connected to a cdma network and it is stuck on emergency calls only. Well, here are some screenshots so you can see what I'm talking about....

I believe this problem has to do something with nv items and qpst configuration, but until I get my hands on another VS920 to compare and restore from I will not know :(

Any more suggestions?

I came across to thread for Lg Revolution that got into test mode, I guess this VS920 got into that mode also...is anyone has fix for it?
